Wollastonite is a natural calcium silicate mineral. Research has shown plants supplemented with silicon have increased yields, even in prime growing conditions. Supplemental silicon strengthens plant cell walls and improves resistance to insects and disease.  Silicon also stimulates plants natural immune responses, increasing the production of resins and terpenes and improving drought/stress resistance.
